Studio Notes

A summer evening in Pismo Beach, watching the sun drop toward the Pacific while a few surfers waited for the next set to roll in. Nothing much was happening, which was exactly what I liked about it. Just warm light, moving water and a few quiet minutes at the end of the day.

The listed size refers to the overall print size before framing.

Print Only photographs are printed on archival fine art paper with a white border surrounding the image. The border is included within the listed paper size and is an intentional part of the Wayne Ford Studio presentation, providing visual breathing room while making the print easy to frame with or without a mat.

Print Only border widths:

• 8 × 12 Print → 0.5” white border
• 11 × 14 Print → 0.75” white border
• 16 × 24 Print → 1” white border
• 24 × 36 Print → 1” white border

Framed Prints are available in two presentation styles:

Museum Presentation

• 2” archival white mat across all sizes
• Black, White, or Oak wood frame
• A timeless gallery-style presentation that creates additional space around the photograph

Gallery Presentation

• No mat
• Photograph extends to the edge of the frame
• A clean, contemporary presentation that emphasizes the image

Because the Museum Presentation includes a 2” archival mat, the finished frame dimensions are larger than the listed print size.

Tracking information is provided as soon as your order ships.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other fees charged by the destination country.

Packaging

Framed photography is professionally packaged and may ship separately from other items in your order.

Print Only photography up to 11×14 is generally shipped flat. Larger sizes are carefully rolled and shipped in protective tubes.

Returns

Because every photography print is produced to order, all sales are considered final. If your order arrives damaged or there is a production issue, please contact the Studio within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.

CARE & DISPLAY

Wayne Ford Studio prints are made using archival pigment inks and museum-quality papers designed to last for generations with proper care.

Display away from prolonged direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
For unframed prints, handle only by the edges with clean, dry hands.
We recommend archival framing with UV-protective glass or acrylic.
Dust framed prints with a soft microfiber cloth. Never use cleaners directly on the print surface.

How do I choose the right print size?

Choosing the right size depends on both your space and how you want the photograph to feel. Larger prints create more presence, while smaller prints are ideal for intimate spaces, shelves, and gallery walls.

What’s the difference between Museum and Gallery?

Museum Presentation includes a 2-inch archival white mat for a timeless gallery aesthetic. Gallery Presentation features a full-bleed print without a mat for a more contemporary look.

Are the photographs signed?

Every print includes a digital Certificate of Authenticity. Framed prints also include a Collector Packet assembled by the Studio, featuring a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity and additional collector materials. Selected editions may also be hand signed on the print itself, as noted on the product page.

When will my order arrive?

Print Only photography typically ships within 3–5 business days. Framed photography is made to order and typically ships within 3–12 business days; please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for production and delivery.
