Pairings bring together images connected by color, form, place, mood or an unexpected visual relationship. Each is selected in the Studio as a single composition, revealing something different when seen side by side.
Presented at 8 × 12, Pairings are available Print Only or framed with generous 3″ archival white mats, allowing the two photographs to read as one considered composition.

The Space Between Two Photographs
Pairing photographs changes the way each image is read.
A color repeats. A shape finds an echo. Two distant places suddenly feel connected. Each Pairing is selected for the visual relationship that emerges when two photographs are seen together.

LIVING WITH THE WORK
Two Photographs, One Composition
Side by Side
The simplest presentation. Hang the photographs at the same height with considered space between them and allow the relationship between the images to do the work.
Around a Corner
A Pairing doesn’t have to share a single wall. Placing the photographs on adjoining walls can carry the visual relationship through a room.
Across a Space
Separate the photographs while keeping them within sight of one another. The connection becomes less immediate and something to discover as you move through the space.
